Welcoming New Leadership and Board Members
As the Tool Library continues to grow, we’re grateful for the volunteers who help guide our work behind the scenes. This month, we’re excited to share a few updates to our Board of Directors.
First, we want to offer our sincere thanks to Taylor Frome, who has served as Board Chair since its inception and helped steward the tool library through an important period of growth. Taylor’s thoughtful leadership, steady guidance, and commitment to the community have been instrumental in helping shape the organization we are today. While she’s stepping back from the Chair role, we’re very glad that Taylor will continue serving on the board.
We’re equally excited to welcome Becky Turner as our new Board Chair. Becky has been a strong supporter of the tool library and was instrumental in shepherding our strategic planning process last year, helping guide important conversations about the organization’s future. She brings enthusiasm, experience, and a collaborative spirit to the role, and we’re looking forward to the next chapter under her leadership.
Finally, we’re thrilled to welcome three new members to the board. Each brings valuable perspectives and skills that will help us continue expanding access to tools, strengthening our programs, and growing the Tool Library’s impact in the community.
With a major milestone (our 10,000th tool loan!) under our belts and an expanded space on the horizon, we’re excited to have such a thoughtful and committed group helping guide the work ahead.
Please join us in thanking Taylor, congratulating Becky, and welcoming our newest board members.
